about The Praemordia model
The flagship model in the Michael Edgeworth range of classical guitars. The Praemordia is designed to provide a wide palette of tone colour, with strong projection, so performers can be confident that precisely their intended interpretation of the music will be heard by the audience.
A rosette inspired by a lost English craft imbues this model with an air of timelessness. A selection of options ensures that each guitar is suited to each individual guitarist. As a standard, it comes equipped with a Visesnut hardcase and Rodgers tuners.

further Details
The Praemordia model embodies the English school. In both sound and aesthetics, it exudes the influence of English makers such as Rubio, Fischer, even Panormo. This provenance is exemplified further in the rosette, built using techniques from an otherwise lost English craft called Tunbridge ware.
The instrument is light, responsive, traditional, balanced, projects well, and has strong upper notes. It is recognisable for its rosette, headstock design, heel shape, Rodgers tuners, snakewood binding. The body size is ever so slightly smaller,
It is built with a spruce or cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides.
